Rules for listings, stores and advertisements.
Property listings
Only advertise property you own or have permission to represent. State the price, location, tenure, known condition and viewing arrangements.
Property listings require review. Keep identity documents and private ownership records out of public photos and descriptions. Discriminatory housing terms are prohibited.
Products
Describe the item accurately. Include its condition, size, materials, known faults and delivery details. Used items need photographs of the actual item.
Only list stock you can supply. Recalled and unsafe products are prohibited.
Vehicles, boats and aircraft
Provide accurate specifications, condition details and your authority to sell. Listings require review.
Arrange inspections and confirm ownership and transfer documents before completing a purchase.
Services
Explain what is included, the price, deliverables, expected dates and cancellation terms. Professional services requiring a licence need a credential review.
Do not claim qualifications, experience or results you cannot substantiate.
Prohibited listings
Weapons, ammunition, explosives, illegal drugs, stolen goods, counterfeits, forged documents, illicit wildlife products, adult sexual services, scams and privacy-invasive products are prohibited.
Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products and medicines are not accepted.
Advertising and reviews
Advertisements must be clearly labelled. Paid placement follows the same listing rules as everything else.
Reviews must come from eligible transactions. Fake reviews, invented sales figures and misleading claims are prohibited.
Payments and returns
Online checkout, seller payouts and advertising billing are not enabled yet.
Sellers must display their returns and cancellation terms. Those terms must respect applicable customer rights.
Privacy and reports
Keep IDs, bank details and private records out of listings and public images. Use the address setting to choose how much of a property's location to display.
